The imagery in this painting was inspired by the migration of monarch butterflies from Illinois to Mexico and back again each year. I created this mixed media painting on a mounted wood panel. I layered acrylic paint colors and added linocut collage elements. The painting is 30” x 30” x 2.5” deep.
