Lisa Kesler's most recent contemporary acrylic paintings are a comment on the serenity and tranquility of the rural environment where she lives. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois in 1982, she spent several years in Phoenix, Arizona, and then lived in Seattle, Washington for thirteen years. In 2006 she moved back to the farm that used to be her grandparents' in central Illinois. Her work plays tribute to the rural imagery around her. She continually experiments with materials and techniques and finds much of her inspiration in the process.
Lisa Kesler's work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
